Hyundai is busy preparing to showcase two performance-driven variants of the all-new 2012 Hyundai Veloster at the 2011 SEMA Show. Recently, the South Korean automaker announced the return of the fiercely styled variant of the already popular 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, which has thoroughly impressed everyone here at Superior Hyundai .

The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Hurricane has been in development for nearly two years by Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) and a slew of aftermarket specialists, including Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. They worked on everything from refining the exterior  to supercharging the engine and everything in between, resulting in an improved Genesis that will rock you like a hurricane! Sorry, but we really couldn't resist the Scorpions reference.

Speaking on the Hurricane's performance, David Dutki, Senior Engineer, HATCI, says, "The HATCI and Magnuson supercharger demonstrates the high-performance potential of Genesis Coupe's V-6 engine - the car was engineered to handle this kind of extra power. Our HATCI engineers have been working for years with Magnuson to ensure high engine output is available on future Hyundai vehicles."¹
